Angie Craig, U.S. Congresswoman representing Minnesota’s 2nd district since 2019, posted a series of statements on September 11, 2025, addressing the anniversary of the September 11th attacks and recent developments in healthcare policy.

In her first post marking the day, Craig wrote: "Today marks the 24th anniversary of the September 11th attacks that forever changed our country.

Today, we remember the 3,000 lives lost – and honor the heroic first responders who answered the call that day

America will never forget." (September 11, 2025)

Later that afternoon, Craig commented on healthcare policy changes attributed to Republicans: "Republicans enacted the largest Medicaid cut in American history.

I introduced a bill with @RepAdamGrayCA to reverse those cuts and make the ACA premium tax credits permanent.

I refuse to stand by idly while they make Americans sicker, poorer and worse off." (September 11, 2025)

That evening, she addressed local impacts in Minnesota: "Rural clinics in MN are closing and it isn’t a coincidence.

The Republicans’ “One Big Beautiful Bill” is showing its ugly face – and it's happening right here at home." (September 11, 2025)

Craig has served as a member of Congress since replacing Jason Lewis in 2019. She was born in West Helena, Arkansas in 1972 and currently resides in Prior Lake. Craig graduated from the University of Memphis with a BA in 1994.
