U.S. Representative Angie Craig, who serves Minnesota’s 2nd district, posted several updates on her social media account in mid-September 2025, addressing topics from health care costs to a recent shooting incident.
On September 14, 2025, Craig criticized the Republican Party’s economic policies by stating, "Rising health care costs, higher taxes and now steeper prices for virtually every single item at the grocery store. Republicans haven’t lowered costs. They’ve raised them."
Later that day, she shared a behind-the-scenes look at a television appearance: "Come behind the scenes with me at MSNBC’s @Morning_Joe!" (September 14, 2025).
On September 15, 2025, following reports of a shooting at Annunciation Catholic Church, Craig expressed gratitude to local hospital staff: "The courageous staff at @childrensmn received some of the victims from the shooting at Annunciation Catholic Church. From the bottom of my heart – thank you to each and every one of the doctors, nurses, support staff and more who treated patients, sat with their families in".
Angie Craig has served as U.S. Representative for Minnesota's 2nd District since replacing Jason Lewis in 2019. Born in West Helena, Arkansas in 1972 and currently residing in Prior Lake, she graduated from the University of Memphis with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1994.
