U.S. Representative Angie Craig, who serves Minnesota’s 2nd district, addressed several national issues in a series of posts on her official Twitter account between September 17 and 18, 2025.

On September 17, Craig responded to actions taken against fellow Congresswoman Ilhan Omar by stating, ".@RepNancyMace this attack on our colleague @Ilhan does nothing to turn down the temperature in our politics at a time when we desperately need it. It’s time to stop playing political games and get back to work for the American people. I’m voting against it." The post was made amid ongoing debates within Congress regarding disciplinary measures.

Later that day, Craig criticized former President Donald Trump’s administration over proposed changes affecting airline passengers. She wrote on September 17: "Let’s talk about it: President Trump wants to roll back consumer protections for airline passengers. If this isn’t proof this Admin cares about corporations more than consumers... I don’t know what is."

On September 18, Craig highlighted concerns about early education programs, particularly Head Start. She stated: "Access to early education can make a world of difference for kids. As President Trump threatens to gut Head Start programs entirely – I'm working with @mn_association to protect these critical programs for Minnesota families."

Craig has represented Minnesota's 2nd District since 2019 after succeeding Jason Lewis in Congress. Born in West Helena, Arkansas in 1972 and currently residing in Prior Lake, she graduated from the University of Memphis with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1994.
