U.S. Representative Angie Craig, who has represented Minnesota’s 2nd district since 2019, addressed several legislative issues in a series of posts on September 19, 2025. Her statements included criticism of Republican policies affecting healthcare and government funding.

In a post made at 14:07 UTC, Craig criticized former President Donald Trump and Republican lawmakers for their stance on the Affordable Care Act premium tax credits. She wrote, "Donald Trump and Republicans refused to extend the ACA premium tax credits. As if kicking millions off Medicaid wasn’t enough – now premiums are set to increase by hundreds of dollars for hardworking American families. Unless you’re a billionaire, the Trump Admin couldn’t care https://t.co/wX8BIiQVPp".

Later that day at 15:20 UTC, Craig posted about her response to a proposed government funding bill from House Republicans. She stated, "My statement on Republicans' partisan government funding bill: https://t.co/hpit4M8A2D".

At 20:05 UTC, she emphasized her efforts in Congress with another update: "You deserve to know your elected officials are working to get things done. Here’s some of what I did in Washington this week. https://t.co/KywnbzCjm0".

Craig has served as U.S. Representative for Minnesota’s 2nd District since defeating Jason Lewis in 2019. She was born in West Helena, Arkansas in 1972 and currently resides in Prior Lake. Craig graduated from the University of Memphis with a BA in 1994.
