Angie Craig, U.S. Representative for Minnesota’s 2nd district, used her social media platform this week to address a range of issues including education policy, religious observances, and concerns about government actions on free speech.

On September 22, 2025, Craig posted support for paraeducators and announced forthcoming legislation aimed at supporting special education teachers. She wrote: "Paraeducators make learning accessible for kids with special needs. It’s time we give them the recognition, support and pay they deserve. That’s why I’m introducing a bill with @RepLucyMcBath and @SenMarkey to help schools recruit, train and retain special education teachers".

The following day, September 23, Craig extended holiday greetings to constituents celebrating Rosh Hashanah. In her post she stated: "Happy Rosh Hashanah to all Minnesotans who celebrate. May this season of renewal bring you and your family peace, happiness and good health."

Later that same day, Craig criticized the current administration's stance on free speech and press freedoms. She wrote: "This Admin’s attacks on free speech and freedom of the press are not only frightening – they're a threat to our democracy."

Craig has represented Minnesota's 2nd District in Congress since 2019 after succeeding Jason Lewis. Born in West Helena, Arkansas in 1972, she is currently a resident of Prior Lake and holds a BA from the University of Memphis (1994).
