State Rep Jon Koznick has recently shared personal reflections and local updates on his social media account, highlighting both the passing of a community figure and changes affecting local businesses.

On September 24, 2025, Koznick commented on recent losses in his community, singling out one individual: "A few funerals this week, but Chuck Zweber in Lakeville was special. Before I knew his background & influence, I met him early in my campaign. His kindness and support over the years were genuine, uplifting & sincere. Super guy & beautiful legacy".

The following day, September 25, he posted a photo from his first campaign with Zweber and added more about their relationship: "Here’s the pic I just found of Chuck and me in my first campaign. Such a nice guy. He voted early because they wintered in Vegas. He called the right away the day after the election in 2015 and told me he was glad I won and proud of me.".

Koznick also addressed local business news on September 26 regarding Starbucks store closures across several Minnesota cities: "Presumed Starbucks closing 4/6 are in Mpls, 1 in St. Paul, 1 Roseville. Don’t worry kids, Lakeville isn’t listed- YET..".

Jon Koznick serves as a state representative for Minnesota's District 58A, representing parts of Dakota County including Lakeville.
