U.S. Representative Angie Craig, who has represented Minnesota’s 2nd district in Congress since 2019, recently addressed a range of topics on her social media account, including health care costs and the anniversary of the October 7 attacks in Israel.

On October 6, Craig posted a message referencing a common saying: "You know what they say about a broken clock...".

Later that day, she criticized her Republican colleagues regarding health care and government funding. On October 6, she wrote: "While your health insurance premiums are skyrocketing – my Republican colleagues are on vacation.

It’s time they get serious, address the health care crisis they’ve created and fund the government."

On October 7, Craig marked the two-year anniversary of the Hamas attacks against Israel with a call for peace and remembrance. She stated: "On October 7, we remember the horrific attacks Hamas carried out against the Israeli people two years ago today.

We must continue working toward returning the hostages and ensuring these horrors are never repeated.

We must finalize a lasting ceasefire that establishes peace,"

Craig, born in West Helena, Arkansas in 1972 and currently residing in Prior Lake, was first elected to Congress after defeating Jason Lewis. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Memphis (Fact 1, Fact 2, Fact 3, Fact 4).
