U.S. Representative Angie Craig, who has represented Minnesota’s 2nd district since 2019, used her social media platform on October 8, 2025, to address a series of concerns ranging from congressional procedures to a recent incident of antisemitic vandalism in Minneapolis.

In a tweet posted at 17:49 UTC, Craig criticized Speaker Johnson for what she described as inconsistent application of House procedures. She wrote, ".@SpeakerJohnson is refusing to swear in Rep-elect Grijalva during a pro forma session – but he swore in two Republican members in April using that exact procedure.

Conveniently, she is the last signature needed to release the Epstein files...

This is not normal. What do".

Later the same day, at 19:40 UTC, Craig followed up with a direct question to Speaker Johnson: "Seriously, @SpeakerJohnson — where are they? https://t.co/PETUtgQKpn".

Craig also addressed local events in Minneapolis on October 8. At 19:54 UTC, she commented on an incident involving vandalism at Temple Israel: "The vandalism at Temple Israel today in Minneapolis is alarming and unacceptable. And it’s a sobering reminder that antisemitism is on the rise.

This is not who we are as Minnesotans. We must stand with our Jewish neighbors in the face of this blatant antisemitism and reject".

Angie Craig has been a member of Congress since replacing Jason Lewis in 2019 and represents Minnesota’s 2nd district. Born in West Helena, Arkansas in 1972, Craig resides in Prior Lake and holds a BA from the University of Memphis (1994).

Her recent comments reflect ongoing debates in Congress over procedural fairness and growing concerns about antisemitic incidents in Minnesota.
