U.S. Representative Angie Craig, who serves Minnesota’s 2nd district in Congress, has recently used her social media platform to address concerns about local journalism access, military pay legislation, and a health care tax policy affecting Minnesotans.
On October 9, 2025, Craig posted about ongoing issues with newspaper delivery in Minnesota. She stated: "Following my letter to USPS detailing reports of delayed newspaper deliveries, USPS officials informed me an internal investigation is underway.
At a time when freedom of the press is under attack – it's more important than ever that Minnesotans have access to local journalism."
The following day, on October 10, 2025, Craig commented on legislative efforts regarding military pay. She wrote: "Mike Johnson can bring the Pay Our Troops Act to a vote on the floor at any time
The fact that he’s pandering and peddling lies to hardworking military families on the phone says it all.
He has the power to get this bill passed and he knows it."
On October 11, 2025, she addressed health care policy changes in another post: "The Republican health care tax hike is here – and it’s going to hurt Minnesota families.
Republicans must address the health care crisis they’ve created in Minnesota and across our country."
Craig has represented Minnesota's 2nd District since replacing Jason Lewis in 2019. Born in West Helena, Arkansas in 1972 and currently residing in Prior Lake, she graduated from the University of Memphis with a BA in 1994.
