U.S. Representative Angie Craig, who serves Minnesota’s 2nd district in Congress, posted a series of tweets addressing health care policy, political rhetoric, and local community recognition on November 1 and 2, 2025.
On November 1, Craig highlighted the beginning of open enrollment for MNSure, Minnesota's health insurance marketplace. She criticized her Republican colleagues for not working to reduce health care costs, stating: "Open Enrollment for @MNSure starts today and will remain open until January 15.
Republicans are still refusing to come to the table to lower your health care costs – and folks across Minnesota are seeing their premiums increase.
If you or your loved ones are seeing your costs" (November 1, 2025).
Later that day, she commented on political discourse with a brief statement: "If their mouths are moving these days, they’re lying." (November 1, 2025).
On November 2, Craig recognized Chief Roger New's retirement after more than three decades of service in Eagan: "Congratulations to Chief Roger New on your retirement after 31 years serving the Eagan community – wishing you all the best in this next chapter." (November 2, 2025).
Craig has represented Minnesota’s 2nd district since replacing Jason Lewis in Congress in 2019. She was born in West Helena, Arkansas in 1972 and currently resides in Prior Lake. Craig graduated from the University of Memphis with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1994.
