U.S. Representative Angie Craig, who serves Minnesota’s 2nd district, used her social media platform to criticize recent Republican actions on health care and immigration in a series of posts published on November 3 and 4, 2025.

On November 3, Craig addressed the impact of former President Trump’s administration on Minnesota’s 8th district, writing: "Trump’s chaotic Admin has cancelled $60M worth of investments into MN-08. And thanks to the Republican health care crisis, health care premiums in MN-08 have increased by 219%. Where is @RepPeteStauber? Minnesotans are losing jobs, health care and investments in their local".

The following day, Craig focused on the Affordable Care Act (ACA) tax credits that support small businesses across Minnesota. She posted: "Small business owners across Minnesota rely on the ACA tax credits for health care. By letting the ACA credits expire, Republicans are putting the squeeze on our local businesses because their health care costs will go up. I’m joining @RepNikkiB in pushing @SpeakerJohnson to".

Later that same day, Craig criticized policies from former President Trump regarding immigration enforcement: "President Trump thinks terrorizing communities, deporting legal U.S. citizens and ambushing mothers in the school drop-off line “isn’t enough.” America is a nation of immigrants – it's what makes our country great. We can’t let this Admin take that away."

Angie Craig has served as a member of Congress representing Minnesota's 2nd District since 2019 after replacing Jason Lewis. Born in West Helena, Arkansas in 1972 and now residing in Prior Lake, she graduated from the University of Memphis with a BA in 1994.
