CITY OF COATES: Public Invited To Comment on Spring Lake Park Reserve Plans

City of Coates issued the following announcement on Oct. 9.

The public can help plan the future of Spring Lake Park Reserve in Hastings.

Dakota County is updating the Spring Lake Park Reserve Master Plan and creating a new Natural Resources Management Plan for the park. The master plan will include a long-range vision for the park and a 10-year plan to guide future decisions about park activities, improvements and natural resource restoration. The Natural Resources Management Plan will address restoration priorities and provide management recommendations for natural areas in the park.

There are opportunities for the public to provide input. An open house is planned for Monday, Oct. 14 from 5:30–7:30 p.m. at Schaar's Bluff Gathering Center, 8395 127th St. E., Hastings.
