City of Coates issued the following announcement on Nov. 4.
The public can help plan the future of Thompson County Park in West St. Paul.
Dakota County is developing a Thompson County Park master plan and a natural resources management plan for the park. The master plan includes a long-range vision for the park that will guide future decisions about park activities, park improvements and natural resources restoration. The natural resources management plan addresses restoration priorities and provides near-term management recommendations.
The public can review and provide input on the draft plans during two upcoming open houses:
- Tuesday, Nov. 5, 5:30–7:30 p.m. Thompson County Park, 360 Butler Ave. E., West St. Paul
- Thursday, Nov. 7, 5–7 p.m. Wentworth Library, 199 Wentworth Ave. E., West St. Paul
