CITY OF EAGAN: Submit Your Comments on a Draft Police Portable Audio/Video Recorder (Body-Worn Camera) Policy

City of Eagan issued the following announcement on Jan. 14.

The City of Eagan is seeking public feedback regarding its draft Portable Audio/Video Recorder Policy, which will govern the Police Department’s use of body-worn cameras. The Eagan City Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2020 at 6:30 p.m. at Eagan City Hall, 3830 Pilot Knob Road, Eagan. Members of the public are welcome to attend the public hearing to provide feedback on the policy and the City’s intent to purchase body-worn camera equipment.

Community members can also provide feedback to the City via email at cityclerk@cityofeagan.com or in writing to City of Eagan, Attn: City Clerk, 3830 Pilot Knob Road, Eagan, MN 55122.
