City of Eagan issued the following announcement on May 7.
Last night, the Eagan City Council voted to close Cascade Bay Waterpark for the summer of 2020. The Council cited the inability to create proper spacing for the number of daily visitors, the uncertainty of opening dates and how that impacted hiring and properly training staff to operate the park.
We know how much the community values Cascade Bay Waterpark, so it’s being closed only after exhausting every effort. But we assure you, we are going to come back stronger than ever in 2021!
The closure of the Cascade Bay Waterpark includes the closure of the park for daily attendance, along with Little Mates classes, the Captain’s Course Miniature Golf, Cardio Bay, birthday parties, and private rentals.
Season pass holders will be provided full refunds.
