City of Coates issued the following announcement on June 25.
Dakota County will host the sixth-annual free School Recycling Workshop on Wednesday, July 15 from 8:30–11:30 a.m. online. All school personnel, including administrators, building and grounds personnel, food service staff and Green Team leaders, are encouraged to attend to learn about new school recycling requirements and ways to improve waste reduction.
New panelists and topics are covered each year with a breakout session and attendee interactions. The agenda for this workshop includes bagless recycling solutions, surplus reuse program insights, reusable breakfast bags and new school recycling requirements and resources.
