What is Eagan Art Block?
“Art is the heart of Eagan,” says event planner and Eagan Art House supervisor Julie Andersen. “This festival provides an opportunity for our community to show that off.”
Eagan Art Block is a collaborative community event bursting with interactive events and activities all taking place within a one-square-mile area in the center of Eagan. The Art Block is quite literally a block. This one-square mile in Eagan is the home of five art organizations, dozens of sculptures, and is home base for hundreds of aspiring and working artists. This art – coupled with green space, parks, neighborhoods, a library, schools and other community assets and amenities makes this a super block – in the heart of Eagan.
The super block is the area bounded by Wescott Road to the north, Diffley Road to the South, Lexington Ave to the east and Pilot Knob Road to the west.

What’s happening at Eagan Art Block 2020?
With Covid-19, it is our priority to ensure our community's safety. That being so, we have planned a variety of virtual and face-to-face events that can connect us to each other and provide adaptable artistic experiences throughout these two great weeks.
From gallery shows to social distance concerts, kite flying & a virtual film festival; this event offers artistic experiences, places to learn, art to view and creations to make. Partnering with over a dozen collaborators, this event is connecting us through and through! We begin with our Art Block Kick-off event September 12!
There is something to do EVERY DAY in Art Block. Thank you to our collaborators who have created amazing opportunities to get creative and connect with others. Find these events on our Facebook page and in the app.
