City Of South St. Paul issued the following announcement on Oct 22.
South St. Paul Police Department is part of a pilot program that was launched by Dakota County in 2019. It aims to coordinate the response of law enforcement officers and council social workers in response to crisis-related 911 calls.
Since its launch, the program has been a success and has enabled our public service workers to build trust with residents in order to help provide the best response possible.
