Ace Hardware & Paint to give away American flags

Ace Hardware & Paint will give away free American flags on Saturday, May 28 to honor the Memorial Day holiday.

Minnesota lost 548 soldiers in the Korean war and 707 in the Vietnam conflict.

Consumers visiting the store at 14760 Pennock Ave, Apple Valley will receive a free 8’ by 12’ American flag. A second will be donated to the local VFW Glen C. Turner Post to be used for marking veterans’ graves on Memorial Day.

This year, Ace Hardware Corporation aims to again give away more than one million American flags nationally. Last year, it gave away more than 500,000 to Ace customers and more than 550,000 to more than 1,900 VFW Posts.

Flags will be available at Ace Hardware & Paint while quantities last. Each consumer is limited to one free flag; no purchase is necessary.

Ace Hardware & Paint is located at 14760 Pennock Ave, Apple Valley, Minnesota. This location is owned by Donald Simon, represented by Ryan Rougeux and managed by Mike Mchugh.
