Public Affairs “Wrap Up”
To conclude this season’s Public Affairs Series, legislators (Rep. Tony Jurgens, Rep. John Huot, Senator Greg Clausen, Senator Jim Carlson) gave their take on what did and did not get resolved at the Legislative Session. They reviewed concerns regarding omnibus bills, how they worked within a divided Legislature, the bills that did get passed, prediction if there will be a special session, and how they thought the pandemic affected their processes now and what they will continue incorporating for future meetings and sessions. Note, the next series will begin in the fall.
