Angie Craig, a U.S. Congress member representing Minnesota's 2nd district since 2019, recently shared several updates on social media addressing different issues and events. Craig, who succeeded Jason Lewis in her congressional role, is actively engaged in discussions concerning healthcare and public safety.

On December 4, 2024, Angie Craig expressed her condolences regarding a tragic incident involving Brian Thompson. She stated: "This is horrifying news. I’m sending my deepest condolences to Brian Thompson’s family members, loved ones and the entire UnitedHealthcare team. This kind of violence is never acceptable."

Later that day, she participated in a discussion with Protect Our Care about the potential expiration of Affordable Care Act tax credits. She emphasized the importance of maintaining these credits to ensure healthcare affordability and accessibility for Minnesotans: "Today I joined @ProtectOurCare to talk about what’s at stake if House Republicans allow critical Affordable Care Act tax credits to expire next year. We have to make healthcare more affordable and work to expand access for Minnesotans."

Additionally, Angie Craig acknowledged the efforts of Minnesota's police officers during a meeting with the Minnesota Police Association in Washington D.C.: "Great to see you in DC, @MNPoliceAssn! Thank you for all the work you do to support Minnesota’s rank-and-file police officers."
