Angie Craig, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Minnesota's 2nd district, shared several updates on social media regarding recent events and issues of concern to her constituents.

On January 29, 2025, Craig extended festive greetings for the Lunar New Year. She stated, "Happy Lunar New Year to all who celebrate! Wishing you all a happy and healthy Year of the Snake."

Later that day, she addressed concerns about a federal funding freeze affecting local communities. In her tweet at 19:52 UTC, she expressed dissatisfaction with the situation by stating "#MN02 communities want clarity, not chaos. This unconstitutional federal funding freeze has families, police departments, farmers and businesses wondering how the administration could not have thought this through. I’ll keep pressing for answers."

In another update on January 29 at 21:46 UTC, Craig visited a significant local business site. She reported on her visit to the 3M plant in Cottage Grove alongside CTO John Banowetz. Her tweet read "Today, I visited the 3M plant in Cottage Grove with CTO John Banowetz. It’s great to see 3M continue to innovate right here in #MN02 and create good-paying jobs for folks in Washington County and beyond."
