Angie Craig reintroduces Crop Insurance Act for new farmers

Angie Craig, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Minnesota's 2nd district, has recently shared several updates via her social media account. Her posts highlight her legislative initiatives and opportunities for young individuals interested in the political process.

On March 17, 2025, Craig expressed pride in representing Minnesota family farmers. She announced the reintroduction of her bipartisan "Crop Insurance for Future Farmers Act with Rep. Randy Feenstra to strengthen the farm safety net and help new and beginning farmers."

Later that day, on March 17, 2025, she invited applications for Congressional internships available in Eagan and Washington, DC. Craig emphasized that "Internships are a great opportunity to learn about the legislative process, constituent services and the functions of a Congressional office."

On March 18, 2025, Craig acknowledged National Ag Day by recognizing Minnesota farmers' contributions to feeding and fueling the world. She stated: "I’m proud to represent the hardworking Minnesota farmers and producers who feed and fuel the world."
