Angie Craig, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Minnesota’s 2nd district since 2019, has recently voiced her concerns on several issues through social media. Her tweets cover topics ranging from the privatization of the United States Postal Service to the potential shutdown of the Department of Education and threats to middle-class retirement benefits.

On March 21, 2025, Craig addressed efforts by Elon Musk and Postmaster General DeJoy concerning the United States Postal Service. She stated, "Elon Musk and Postmaster General DeJoy are dead set on gutting USPS and privatizing the postal service. Postal workers are fighting back and so am I."

The following day, March 22, 2025, she commented on the administration's attempt to close down a federal department. In her tweet, she declared that "The Administration may think they can unilaterally shut down the Department of Education, but the reality is they can’t shutter the Department without Congressional support. They certainly don’t have mine – and I’m not going down without a fight."

Later that same day, Craig expressed concern about financial security for retirees in Minnesota. She tweeted: "First, they come for our data – now our seniors’ hard-earned benefits. Where does it end? Middle class Minnesotans work their whole lives to be able to retire comfortably, but a billionaire wouldn’t know anything about that."
