Later on the same day, Craig expressed concerns over government funding cuts, stating, "The Admin’s funding cuts are hitting working Americans the hardest – and that includes our family farmers." She also mentioned the adverse effects of tariffs on American farmers, which she argued could exclude them from foreign markets.

On April 7, Craig spoke at the National Beer Wholesalers Association BREW Leadership Forum. She remarked on the opportunity to engage with "women in business who are powering our local economies," while humorously noting that the involvement of beer made it "not a bad way to start the week."
