Congresswoman Angie Craig, who has represented Minnesota's 2nd district since 2019, recently shared her views on various issues through a series of tweets. Craig, born in 1972 in West Helena and a graduate of the University of Memphis, voiced her concerns on economic and local safety matters, as well as celebrated local sports achievements.

On April 7, 2025, Craig addressed the potential financial impact of new government policies. According to her tweet, "New data estimates that the average American household will lose $3,800 per year due to the President’s new tariffs, while prices will go up 2.3%. He campaigned on lowering costs – I don’t think this is what the American people voted for."

In another tweet on the same day, Craig highlighted her efforts in securing funding for local public safety infrastructure. She stated, "Last year, I fought for $7 million for Lakeville to build a much-needed training facility for public safety officers in the south metro. Because of the Republicans’ disastrous funding bill, that investment is in limbo and our communities are less safe."

Craig also took a moment to celebrate local sports achievements on April 7, 2025. In a tweet, she expressed her support for Minnesota athletes. "What a season and what a finale for Minnesota’s own Paige Bueckers. Congratulations to the UConn women and a big shoutout to all the Minnesota athletes who made us proud playing in the March Madness tournament!"
