Angie Craig, a serving member of the U.S. Congress representing Minnesota’s 2nd District, has taken to social media to address urgent political issues. Craig has actively engaged in highlighting concerns she believes are crucial to her constituents and the American public.

In a tweet posted on April 8, 2025, Craig criticized her Republican colleagues following a hearing, stating: "I just left a hearing where my Republican colleagues tried to distract from the fact that they are planning to cut $230 billion from SNAP to pay for tax cuts for billionaires. Don't let them fool you."

On the same day, Craig expressed her disapproval of certain deportation practices, emphasizing due process. She stated: "In this country, we are entitled to due process. Randomly deporting students from American universities without any explanation is unacceptable and certainly against the law."

Later, Craig discussed in another tweet about her meeting with union representatives, underlining the threat posed by federal funding cuts. She noted the discussions with @LiUNAMinnesota about these impacts: "Today I sat down with @LiUNAMinnesota to talk about the impacts of the Admin’s federal funding cuts on our union workers. Pausing funding for infrastructure projects we already negotiated will cost good-paying union jobs and weaken the middle class. I’m standing with our labor."
