Angie Craig, who is currently serving as a U.S. Congress member representing Minnesota’s 2nd district, shared updates on her recent engagements and actions through her social media platform.
On April 16, 2025, she tweeted about a meeting she had with Neel Kashkari, President of the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis. "Today, I had the opportunity to meet with Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis President Neel Kashkari. As businesses grapple with tariff whiplash, we talked about the risks our economy is facing."
In a statement posted later on the same day, Craig tweeted on the solidarity of Minnesotans in confronting challenges. "Minnesotans stand up and fight back when our communities are under attack. I’ve got plenty of Democratic partners in this fight, but I’m still looking for a few patriots in the Republican Party to join me and stand up to this Administration."
Continuing her updates, on April 17, she announced the allocation of funds from the CHIPS and Science Act to Carleton College. "I was proud to help secure $381,872 in funding from the CHIPS and Science Act for Northfield’s own Carleton College to promote two-year STEM education programs that help our students secure good-paying jobs after graduation. This is great news for MN02!"
Craig, who has represented her district since 2019, carries a background marked by her roots in Arkansas and her academic achievement from the University of Memphis.
