Angie Craig, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Minnesota’s 2nd district, has recently been sharing updates on local initiatives and federal decisions via social media. Below are summaries of her latest posts.

On April 23, 2025, she highlighted, "The warming weather in Minnesota means ice cream season is fast approaching. When you’re in need of a sweet treat, don’t forget to support awesome local businesses like Bridgeman’s Ice Cream Parlor. I stopped by their shop in Woodbury today - and I can’t recommend it enough."

The following day, on April 24, 2025, Craig focused on the essential work of emergency personnel, stating, "Every day, Minnesota’s first responders put their lives on the line to keep us safe. We owe it to them to ensure their safety and wellbeing too. I introduced a bipartisan bill with my colleagues to ensure local law enforcement agencies have the resources and information they."

Later on the same day, April 24, 2025, she expressed concern over federal funding cuts to cultural institutions, mentioning, "For decades, the National Endowment for the Humanities has helped make history, literature and research available to the masses. Overnight, the Admin terminated all major NEH grants to state humanities councils and have threatened to further reduce funding and staff. I’m."

Angie Craig has represented Minnesota's 2nd District since 2019, after replacing the previous U.S. Congress member, Jason Lewis. Born in West Helena, Arkansas, Craig graduated from the University of Memphis in 1994 with a Bachelor’s degree and now resides in Prior Lake, Minnesota.
