Angie Craig, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Minnesota's 2nd district since 2019, has been vocal on social media about several issues impacting Americans. Her recent tweets reflect her concerns regarding government spending and policies affecting everyday citizens.

On May 15, 2025, Angie Craig questioned the priorities of the current administration in a tweet: "Let me get this straight. While this Admin is pushing to take $6 a day away from hungry kids on SNAP to root out 'wasteful spending' they see no issue spending over a billion of your hard-earned tax dollars to replace Air Force One with a Qatari jet (the President got for".

Later that day, she addressed the impact of tariffs imposed by the administration. In her tweet posted at 16:51 UTC, she stated: "Thanks to this administration’s sweeping tariffs, our ports—and soon, the shelves at our grocery stores—are emptying. These tariffs aren’t bringing a 'golden age,' they’re making it harder for hardworking Americans to get by."

In another post made on May 15 at 21:12 UTC, Craig highlighted her commitment to environmental preservation in Minnesota. She tweeted: "Every Minnesotan deserves access to outdoor spaces and public lands. Yesterday, I met with the Trust for Public Land to discuss how we can leverage the investments we made through the IRA to protect public lands for generations of Minnesotans to enjoy."

Born in West Helena, Arkansas in 1972 and currently residing in Prior Lake, Angie Craig graduated from the University of Memphis in 1994 with a BA.
