Angie Craig, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Minnesota's 2nd district since 2019, has recently shared her views on energy policy, safety regulations, and a tragic incident involving embassy officials. Born in West Helena, Arkansas in 1972 and currently residing in Prior Lake, Craig graduated from the University of Memphis with a BA in 1994.

On May 21, 2025, Angie Craig expressed her support for an inclusive energy strategy. She stated that "Investing in an all-of-the-above energy policy lowers prices at the pump, creates jobs and strengthens our energy independence." She emphasized her efforts to encourage the Administration to enhance biofuel production to ensure that producers in Minnesota can continue contributing globally.

Later that day, Craig addressed safety concerns related to carbon monoxide poisoning for travelers. In her post on May 21, she acknowledged contributions from Representative Mike Levin and others by saying "No traveler should have to worry about carbon monoxide poisoning." She thanked Leslie Lienemann and her son for their partnership in advocating for mandatory carbon monoxide detectors in hotels and rental units.

On May 22, Craig responded to a violent incident involving Israeli Embassy officials. She described the event as "sickening" following the killing of two officials outside the Capitol Jewish Museum. Expressing condolences to their families and solidarity with the Jewish community, she reaffirmed her commitment to combating antisemitism and all forms of hate.

Angie Craig has been serving as a representative since replacing Jason Lewis in 2019.
