Angie Craig, U.S. Representative for Minnesota’s 2nd District since 2019, used her Twitter account on July 22, 2025 to address several issues concerning her constituents and the broader public.

In a post at 14:51 UTC, Craig criticized former President Trump’s approach to medical research funding, stating: "Trump’s cuts to the NIH will significantly decrease the number of new prescription drugs available to Minnesotans. These are innovative and life-saving medicines that folks desperately need. This is cruel, unprecedented and backward."

Later in the day, at 16:33 UTC, she questioned the transparency of the current administration regarding high-profile documents, posting: "What is this Administration hiding? Release the Epstein files."

At 18:00 UTC, Craig highlighted constituent services achievements from her office by sharing: "I’m so proud of my team for successfully returning $8 million from federal agencies to folks in MN-02! The folks in my district elected me to serve them – and that’s my top priority here in Congress. If you need help with a federal agency, contact my constituent services team at"

Craig has represented Minnesota's 2nd District since replacing Jason Lewis in 2019. She was born in West Helena, Arkansas in 1972 and currently resides in Prior Lake. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Memphis earned in 1994.
