Angie Craig highlights constituent services and federal funding for Minnesota projects

U.S. Representative Angie Craig, who serves Minnesota’s 2nd district, highlighted recent constituent services and federal funding initiatives in a series of posts on her social media account between August 13 and August 14, 2025.

On August 13, Craig shared an example of constituent support: "My office helped Arthur from Eagan access his Treasury Direct Account after facing months of frustrating red tape. Arthur, I’m so glad we were able to help. If you or your family need assistance with a federal agency, my team is here to help."

Later that day, she discussed the completion of a community project in Farmington: "In 2017, the City of Farmington surveyed its residents about what they’d like to see in a new community center. Today, the Farmington community’s vision became a reality. I was proud to secure $750,000 in federal funding for this project and honored to join local leaders and"

On August 14, Craig addressed concerns regarding Social Security: "90 years ago today, the Social Security Act was signed into law. Today, thanks to this Administration, seniors’ hard-earned benefits are under attack. I’m working to strengthen Social Security and put more money back into the pockets of hardworking Minnesotans."

Angie Craig has represented Minnesota's 2nd District in Congress since replacing Jason Lewis in 2019 and has focused on issues affecting both individual constituents and broader community needs. Born in West Helena, Arkansas in 1972 and now residing in Prior Lake, Craig earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Memphis in 1994.
