Angie Craig, U.S. Congresswoman representing Minnesota’s 2nd district since 2019, posted a series of updates on August 16, 2025, highlighting legislative milestones, community events, and engagement with young constituents.

In a post commemorating the anniversary of significant legislation, Craig stated on August 16: "Three years ago today, the Inflation Reduction Act was signed into law. This historic bill lowered health care costs, capped the price of prescription drugs for our seniors and made huge strides toward America’s energy independence. Now, in the wake of Republicans’ devastating".

Later that day, she referenced her participation in a local cultural event: "This weekend in Shakopee, the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community is hosting their annual summer Wacipi! The rain might have ended last night’s festivities early — but Cheryl and I still had a chance to stop by Mystic Lake to see Chairman Cole Miller. Our tribal communities" (August 16).

Craig also shared about her interaction with interns from her offices: "It was great to sit down with interns from both my Eagan and Washington D.C. offices to chat about their experiences and their future goals. Young people like them are the future of our democracy." (August 16).

Craig has served as Minnesota's 2nd District representative since replacing Jason Lewis in 2019. She was born in West Helena, Arkansas in 1972 and currently resides in Prior Lake. Craig graduated from the University of Memphis in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
