U.S. Representative Angie Craig, who has served Minnesota’s 2nd District in Congress since 2019, shared updates on social media about local events, agriculture issues, and constituent services over the past two days.

On August 21, Craig highlighted the start of the state fair with a post encouraging families to explore new food offerings: "It's the opening day of the Great Minnesota Get-Together, and there are 41 new state fair foods to try with your family this year!

If you haven’t already, make sure to plan ahead so you can find them – Cheryl and I are headed straight for the Caprese Curds!" The tweet was posted at 15:23 UTC.

Later that same day, Craig addressed challenges facing agricultural communities. In her post from 19:31 UTC, she wrote: "From the President's tariffs to natural disasters to consolidation in the ag industry, farm country is getting hit front, back and sideways.

Let’s not forget – food security is national security; the ag sector drives our state's economy and America’s farmers and producers feed https://t.co/BEbaAe6u1Y"

On August 22 at 15:32 UTC, Craig referenced a recent constituent case involving emergency travel documentation: "After an unexpected boat accident, my office helped Rachel from Jordan receive an emergency passport while traveling abroad.

Rachel – I’m glad you are safe and we were able to help.

If you or your family need assistance with a federal agency, my team is here to help. https://t.co/z5kJmTPWcW"

Craig represents Minnesota’s 2nd district after succeeding Jason Lewis in 2019. She was born in West Helena, Arkansas in 1972 and currently resides in Prior Lake. A graduate of the University of Memphis with a BA earned in 1994, Craig has emphasized both community engagement and support for constituents throughout her tenure.
