Angie Craig, a U.S. Congress member representing Minnesota's 2nd District since 2019, has been vocal on several issues through her social media presence. Born in West Helena, Arkansas in 1972 and currently residing in Prior Lake, Craig graduated from the University of Memphis in 1994 with a BA. Her recent tweets cover topics ranging from healthcare to reproductive rights and law enforcement.

On January 22, 2025, Angie Craig expressed her support for legislation aimed at reducing healthcare costs by enabling Medicare to negotiate drug prices directly for seniors. She described this development as "great news" and emphasized the need to extend these cost reductions to everyone. "I was proud to support legislation to lower health care costs by empowering Medicare to directly negotiate drug prices for seniors. This recent announcement is great news. Now it’s time to lower drug costs for everyone."

Later that day, she addressed women's reproductive rights on the anniversary of Roe v. Wade. Craig reiterated her commitment to defending these rights and ensuring privacy and freedom for women across the country, stating that government should not interfere in private healthcare decisions. "Women in #MN02 & across the country have made it clear – the government should have no place in their private health care decisions."

In another tweet posted on January 22, 2025, Craig voiced her opposition against pardoning individuals who attacked police officers during the events of January 6th. She highlighted the importance of supporting law enforcement officers who protect citizens daily. "Law enforcement officers have our backs and we have to have theirs."
