CITY OF EAGAN: Change Your Smoke and CO Detectors Batteries

Smokedetect

City of Eagan issued the following announcement on Nov. 3.

When you change your clocks back today, change your smoke and CO (carbon monoxide) detectors batteries!

Your smoke detectors should be replaced every 10 years, and your CO detectors should be changed every 5 - replacing the whole unit ensures they'll be functional when you need them!

More information can be found on the NFPA website https://www.nfpa.org/Public-Education/By-topic/Smoke-alarms
