Description

2020 State, Congressional and Presidential Forecast

The political climate has changed!  The ends of the spectrum have become more polarized and divisive, voters have become unpredictable, fake news, and social media have impacted everything! Is this the new norm in our elections?  Please come here our Speakers in an engaging conversation about the local and national politics, trends, and the upcoming State, Congressional and Presidential Elections.

Our Speakers are, Todd Rapp, CEO of Rapp Strategies, who has three decades in public service and the private sector has been part of strategies that address some of our region’s most complex and important issues, and has served in numerous leadership positions in state government and politics.

Maureen Shaver, Shaver Public Relations, has been active in the campaigns of many Republican officeholders and has been involved in organizations that encourage the participation of women in the political process.

Maureen has been a political commentator and political analyst for WCCO radio, Minnesota Public Television, and Minnesota Public Radio.  She often comments on state and national public affairs for the Minnesota news media and is a regular contributor to Minnesota Public Radio.
