U.S. Representative Angie Craig, who serves Minnesota’s 2nd district in Congress, has recently used her social media platform to voice opposition to a government funding bill and call for legislative action regarding Rep. Grijalva.
On November 12, 2025, Craig posted on X: "The writing is on the wall. Swear in Rep. Grijalva and release the files. Now." Later that day, she addressed ongoing negotiations over a potential government shutdown, stating: "We all want the shutdown to end, but this bill is not the answer. I’m a no."
Continuing her stance against the proposed legislation, Craig posted on November 13: "Come with me to vote no on the government funding bill that raises health care costs for millions of Americans. This fight isn’t over."
Angie Craig has represented Minnesota’s 2nd congressional district since 2019 after succeeding Jason Lewis. She was born in West Helena, Arkansas in 1972 and currently resides in Prior Lake. Craig earned her BA from the University of Memphis in 1994.
