U.S. Representative Angie Craig, who represents Minnesota’s 2nd district in Congress, has voiced opposition to a recently passed government funding bill, citing concerns over rising health care costs for Americans.

On November 13, 2025, Craig issued a statement regarding her vote: "My statement on my vote against the government funding bill that raises health care costs for millions of Americans: https://t.co/Igjr8dUGs2".

Later that day, she reiterated her position on social media, stating: "Because of the Republican funding bill that passed last night, health care costs will continue to rise for millions of Americans. Minnesotans deserve better. This fight isn’t over and I’m not backing down." (November 13, 2025).

In addition to her legislative activities, Craig highlighted opportunities for students interested in public service. On November 14, 2025, she posted: "The deadline to apply for an internship in either my Minnesota or Washington D.C. office is one week away! Don’t miss your chance to apply at https://t.co/3aUnRWoLRV https://t.co/tEFIyXa4qd".

Craig has represented Minnesota's 2nd District since replacing Jason Lewis in 2019. She was born in West Helena, Arkansas in 1972 and currently resides in Prior Lake. Craig graduated from the University of Memphis with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1994.
